COMMON QUESTIONS

COMMON QUESTIONS

When should I book my newborn session?
It’s never too early to book. Newborn sessions should be booked during pregnancy, the earlier the better.

What if my baby comes early or after my due date?
By booking a session with me (which includes a deposit) your new baby has a priority on my schedule. I have limited spots each month so booking a session guarantees your spot on my calendar.

Why do you photograph babies between 5-10 days old?
This age window is best for capturing those squishy, flexible, sleepy newborn shots you see on my website. This is because the first 10 days of life newborns are at their sleepiest, which means I can pose your newborn into positions that are not always possible after that 10 day mark.

How do I prepare for my newborn session?
Once you’re booked and on my calendar, you will receive an email from me outlining things you will need to do to prepare.

My baby is already here, am I too late?
This really depends on a few factors including my availability and the age of your baby. Please contact me to discuss the possibility.

Can I incorporate family/sibling shots into the session?
Yes. Not all  of my packages include family/newborn portraits, but you can include these shots into any package for an extra fee.

Do you have all the props?
Yes. I have copious amounts of props, newborn outfits, wraps, backdrops and floordrops. If there is something you personally have that you would like to incorporate into some shots, you’re more than welcome to bring it along to the session.

How long after the session will I receive my images?
You will receive your images within 7 days of the session.

Where will my session take place?
Your session will take place in my studio located at 1 Barnes Street, Taminda.
